'Now You See Me' Trailer: An A-List Cast Does Movie Magic, Literally

Magic's always been considered a bit of a dorky pursuit, but can an ensemble cast of Hollywood A-listers finally make it cool? That's the hope of Now You See Me, which likely blew a good chunk of its $70 million budget on its actors. (It's going to be hard for Now You See Me to be more than the sum of its parts with the likes of Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave "Don't Call Me James' Little Brother" Franco, and Melanie Laurent all starring.)

The film follows a band of magicians illusionists, led by Harrelson and a still very Zuckerberg-ian Eisenberg, who use their abracadabra skills to re-enfranchise the populist audiences of their elaborate stage shows. (Of all the career paths out there, who would have thought magician was the best one to level the playing field for the 99 percent?) Unfortunately, their tricks garner the attention a pair of FBI agents (Ruffalo and Laurent) as well as a banking magnate played by Caine. Think of it as Robin Hood meets Oceans Eleven meets Chris Angel.
